Sculpture on display
By: Melba - 2005-03-27
In the early years after City Hall was built, Wasn't there a metallic sculpture in the center fountain? I'm fairly certain I can remember one by an artist named Tom Runnels, but can't documentation about it's name or pictures. I would like more info, please email if you have any data, or remember anything about it. Thanks.

My brother Tom was an artist / sculptor and worked in metal. He my be the one you're asking about. However, I can't verify your question. I'll ask my sister when I talk w/ her this p.m. by phone. Thanks for your interest, if I can be of any help please let me know. Tom has a legacy and I'd like very much to advance it.
You might check w/ Sam Burrage @ WPSD TV, Sam did an piece on Tom some years back.
