street address again

after looking through a few of these pictures I've decided that this can't be on Jackson Street. They to look be on Jefferson Street.

We incorrectly listed some of the photos as appearing on Jackson Street, when in fact they are located on Jefferson Street.
Thanks Missy for pointing this out! The person responsible for this error has been fired and deported from the country. Just kidding! :-)

my mother was born in paducah and was put in the home of the friendless or friendly home and was wondering if anybody out there might have a picture of the orphanage.I would love to see one if there is one

Friendly Home

I don't have a picture, but I lived and grew up right next door to the big red brick structure. It was a wonderful place. I have not seen it since I was 16 years old and I am now 45.
