Organ for Four Rivers

I would like to propose a symphonic pipe organ to be installed in the future Four Rivers Center. I would be more than happy to serve as a consultant if the project has enough support.
These are NOT your ordinary church variety of pipe organ and were originally intended for halls seating 10,000 or more and can produce sound levels normally associated only with amplified events!
The City of Cincinati recently had one of these restored and installed in Union Terminal at the Cincinnati Science Center. It is a 1928 E.M. Skinner.
I have been into pipe organs since 1968 and worked on a crew between 1974-1982 during the re-installation of Cincinnati's former RKO Albee WurliTzer in the University of Cincinnati's Emery Theatre.
I wrote a technical column dealing in pipe acoustics for the ATOS journal, Theatre Organ, betweeen 1978-1982.

I would still like to build community interest in my proposal for a symphonic pipe organ for the Four Rivers Center. I am also the producer of the Rediscovering the Pipe Organ series seen on Paducah channel 2.
Anyone who has ever heard such an organ will testify that this type of instrument is definitely not just for accompanyment of church hymns, but a very dynamic and exciting musical instrument, suitable for a broad range of musical genre.
When the E.M. Skinner in Cleveland's Municipal Auditorium was restored circa 1980, organist Michael Murray played to an enthusiastic capacity crowd of about 30,000 in the huge structure covering 2 city blocks!
I would be happy to make technical recommendations for such an instrument. I believe it would greatly add to the culture here in Paducah.

I would suggest that you contact Mr. Elbert Pluer, organ builder and restorer in Bussum, Netherlands.
He is currently working on a big symphonical MIDI-commanded instrument, which is due to play all kinds of
orchestral music. His client is a famous Dutch violin player and music conductor. Mr. Pluer is working at
several solutions to bring expression in pipes and percussion. His E-mail address is:
