Your 1st Mardi Gras Parade

Sixteen years ago, Dave & I co-
ordinated Paducah's first Mardi Gras parade. We purchased the beads & coins that were thrown out to parade goers, had the marching funeral, provided the flowers & the walking man, there
was a few floats & Mayor Montgomery rode in a horse drawn
carriage. Her custom looked great
with all the plume feathers!
My husband worked for WDXR Radio
station at that time. We moved away from Paducah the following year. It's good to see how much
Paducah has progressed.
