AQS 2001 Show

Hi folks,
We've had a lot of requests for the dates of the upcoming Quilt show in Paducah. Here are the dates according to the AQS:
17th Annual AQS Quilt Show & Contest - Paducah, KY
April 25, 26, 27, & 28, 2001
Executive Inn Convention Center
Paducah, KY
Show Times:
Wednesday-Saturday 9 am - 6 pm

I have finished my very first (35x35") quilt top, and so pleased with the results! However,although I have quilted around, in the ditch, log cabin squares, I'm not sure what or how (or even if I should) to machine quilt the five inch border. Any suggestions? Do I really even need to quilt the border??
