Although I am from Metropolis, I would love to start playing soccer again. I haven't played since I was 16 (I am 32 now), and I am not in the greatest of shape, but I still love the game.
If anyone has any information, drop me an email and let me know. I will keep watching here though.
Is there a website or something? Parks and Rec maybe.
This pick up games are just older guys like us. Not a league or anything. I help coach a U8 team, and like to get out there and run around too. I will drop more info if I hear of anymore.
There also is an indoor Adult league in Mayfield that is structured, but I havent gotten any details on that.

When and where are the pick up games being played? I would be glad to join in for those if there isn't any league going right now.
I heard about the indoor league in Mayfield but I didn't hear about it until after the season started so I didn't pursue it any further. I was talking to the gentleman who owns Casa Mexican (Israel) and he was telling me about the Mayfield league.
At any rate, I have to get into better shape before I do anything else. Nothing more shameful than a old guy hurling on the pitch.
