How to envelope a quilt

I have a quilt ready to start quilting but I wanted to envelope it and can't remember how. I know that you stack the backing, filling and top together and sew around the outside edges and then turn it, but can't remember how to stack it. If anyone knows how to do this, could you please tell me. I'm only 74 years old but have had a stroke and it has affected my memory. Thank you.
