Anyone in agreement with me that Lone Oak should invest in a skatepark? The ball is rolling for the one in Noble Park, however, Lone Oak has more skaters than that side of town.
Brookport IL of all places has a great little place for skaters to go. If a community like that can invest $$ into a place for kids to go, why cant Lone Oak?
I have posted before with no response. I believe this is something that can really happen if people show interest. All opinions are welcome
Thanks

Paducah should have more things for younger people to do.
I grew up in Paducah and can say there wasn't much going on.
I live in Vancouver now and they have a kick ass skate park. Local bands play every weekend. Good luck guys. It's going to be tough to get Paducah/Lone Oak to agree on something so "controversial" *snorts*

Exactly, but somethings just dont come easy. Glenn Auterburn has worked his butt off to get Noble Park a skatepark and I give him Kudos for that. I believe that all neighborhoods could have some place set up for skateboarders to go. Even if it wasnt a park, just a place for them to go where all the %^@^ cops didnt run them off. Where business owners dot throw rocks, and neighbors dont shout and fuss.
