We have a circa 1800 30'x45' barn with pegged beams that has to be torn down. Two stories with a basement. 10'x30' opening in center with baloconies. Building engineer said it would be cost prohibitive to bring up to code to convert to a house. Roof is leaking and cannot be replaced. Too bad...it is a beautiful old barn. South Shore of Boston, MA.

Have old barn for sale circa 1936. In good structural condition, great beams throughout, seems to be mostly oak and pine. Siding is good on inside, but outside has been painted a long time ago. For Sale: Vintage Barn!!!!! Located in central Kentucky, this barn is approx. 60 yrs. Old and has weathered the test of time amazingly well. Built primarily of oak with some yellow poplar this barn has been partially dismantled and is being offered as is to its buyer for dismantling and removal. Not a large barn but large enough to have plenty of usable lumber, this barn measures 39 ft. wide by 24 ft. deep by 16 ft high at its highest point. This barn is probably 95 percent original!

I have a historic barn that we are looking to sell. It has very wide floor boards and excellent big beams throughout, all hand hewn timbers and square nails. It is around 24' X 30', 2 stories and solid. Any advice you could give me on how much you think we could sell it for or people in the area that would buy/disassemble it would be great. My brother has an old barn for sale in Patten, Maine. It is filled with hundreds of feet of hand-hewn 8x8", 10x10", and 12"x12" timbers. If not sold soon, it will be bulldozed. Must be disassembled and removed by purchaser.

Have old barn, aprox 80' X 36', two story, likely built late 1800's with hand hewn beams and 2" thick by 12" wide floor boards by 12' long. Some floor boards narrower. Also has internal pine grain bin. Also has beams from saw mill. Some beams about 50' long. Some are 36' long. Believed to be about 10" X 10". Located in south central Michigan (Battlecreek Jackson area). Will have to be torn down and moved. If interested, please respond and make offer.

We're going to be building a house soon and are very interested in finding a barn or similar structure that someone would like removed within the general west/southwest area - Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, Kansas, Utah, Nevada. We'd be interested in removing it so as to recondition/recycle timbers and possibly other parts of the barn.

For sale, 100 year old plus, hand hewn beams that are pegged, 32 x 24, two story, rough cut lumber sided and weathered. Under good roof. Some really nice wide boards too in this barn. You take it down and clean site, pay us a reasonable sum so we can get started on a newer barn in a more convenient location for our livestock.

Approx. 150 year old barn south of Syracuse, NY. Nice hand-hewn, pegged beams of mixed woods-maple, beech, hemlock, elm.
Siding in pretty good condition, old paint on the outside. Basement, ground floor, 1/3 loft. Guesstimate of the dimensions-maybe 25x80? Roof mostly good, I think shakes covered by tin. Some areas of rot, couple of rotten and broken beams. E-mail at cdltorrey@msn.com

I do not have an entire barn but I do have approx. 500 board feet of barnboard (gray) that has been used as interior decoration in our ski lodge. Widths vary from 6 inches to 16 inches and length varies up to 8 ft. It is in excellent condition as it has been out of the weather and dry for at least 30 years. Located in Fayston VT 05673. It should be available early summer. Please make an offer including pickup and indicate if you are interested in doing the removal from the chalet. Digital photos are available.

I am located in central Indiana and have the ability to get a hold of 8 to 13 barns. All with verying foot prints and different woods. i.e. elm,poplar and oak. They also range from hand hewn to rough sawn. I currently have pictures of 5. 3 of the pictures are of complete structures that are perfect for conversions. I recently pruchased an old farm in Ontario canada. Close to Ottawa. I have an old barn with hand hewn beams and barn board for sale. The wind took the roof off the barn last year and I would like to sell the beams and board. Please contact with your needs.
