I need medical help PLEASE!

I am humiliated to have to write this message and beg for help, but I truly need help. I have a small navel hernia that is causing me problems. I have to wear a “belt” (the kind that people wear that lift heavy objects) in order to hold in in because I am very afraid that it will enlarge. This is very hard for me to do and conspicuous also.
I have no health insurance at all, so I guess that is why I am being reduced to “begging” for help from some medical doctor. I can afford to pay several hundred dollars, but I can’t afford more than that. This is very embarrassing and humiliating like I said before.
I really do not know what caused this. The only thing I can think of is that I have had to lift a lot of very heavy weight. I noticed this a couple of years ago and I have had to live with this ever since. I have been wearing that belt (as I described above) most of the time and all of the time when I have to lift a lot of weight.
I am sorry that I can’t afford health care. It is just too expensive for me. I am also ashamed and humiliated that I can’t afford to go to the hospital and try to get help because the cost would be astronomical.
This is very hard for me to have to beg for help, but I am so afraid this now small hernia will enlarge and get worse. It does cause me problems because I have to keep pushing the bulge “back in” and so that is why I have started wearing that “belt” to keep it in.
I hope and pray that some doctor or medical person will read this and find it within them to offer me a way to have this repaired, either at low cost, or some kind of low payment per month way. Like I have previously said, this is very embarrassing and humiliating, but I just don’t think I can take this much longer.
I am one of those people who work, but do not make enough to afford health care insurance and I am also not “poor” enough to get it free, so you see, I am trapped in between.
I truly need help if someone would PLEASE offer some! Thank you! This would have to be discreet, because I am already ashamed and humiliated enough to have to beg like this.

The St Nicholas Clinic is set up to assist when someone finds themselves in the situation you describe. It is open for screenings on Tuesday and Thursdays, starting at 3 PM till 5. Try to be there at 3, as there are sometimes many people. It is located at 19th and Kentucky Ave. in Paducah. Good luck.

I want to thank you very much for your kind words of assistance. Something strange has happened as my hernia has shrunk very much. I no longer have to wear that belt all the time. I only wear it when I have to lift heavy weights, because the hernia has shrunk NOTICABLY and is pretty small now. I do not know what has caused this, or if it is prayers or what. I do know that I resorted to heavy praying as a last resort because I had no alternative. I am amazed, yet I do not know if this is healing itself or what, but I do know that it is MUCH smaller and looks so VERY much better. Maybe God does truly hear prayers after all and maybe, just maybe He has heard the prayers of those who are afflicted. I do not know the answer to this, but this is an AMAZING thing that has happened! I am almost speechless! Maybe this goes even further than just helping me, maybe it is a way for God to show that He still hears, I just do not know, but it is very amazing! Thanks to all who tried to help! I feel so very much better, but I confess, I do not understand what is going on, but SOMETHING IS!!!
