As a resident of Paducah from 1956 to 1994 I am well aquainted with several ghost stories from the Paducah area.Della Barnes story, whether true or not is a local favorite...as is the eyes out on old Pool Road. The "Monster of Blizzard Pond" was a favorite when I was in Middle school.Another popular story involved the ghost of a railroad worker that haunted the railroad crossing just before you got to the old Johnson Brother's Coffin Shop...which has since been destroyed.Paducah has a very rich heritage in old ghost stories.
