 Dear Subscriber,

We're writing with some important news. Starting in December 2002, Volaris Online will no longer offer dial-up Internet access. We have made a special arrangement with EarthLink that will keep our dial-up subscribers connected through EarthLink's award-winning service.

EarthLink offers fast, reliable connections, with more local nationwide access numbers. They also provide FREE online tools -- like Pop-Up Blocker and junk email reduction. EarthLink does not offer complimentary Internet access, and the prices and features associated with your EarthLink plan may be different from your Volaris Online account.

If you choose to sign up for EarthLink, you'll be able to forward your Volaris email to your new EarthLink email address for 30 days -- long enough to let your friends and family know about your change of address.

Please Note: If you do NOT sign up at the EarthLink transition Web site before December 10, 2002, your Internet access will stop working.

Here's how to switch over to EarthLink:

1. Sign up for an EarthLink dial-up access plan by visiting:

http://www.earthlink.net/partners/volaris

2. Wait for your EarthLink welcome kit and installation software to arrive in the mail.

3. Install the EarthLink software and log on with your new EarthLink account.

4. Arrange to have your current Volaris email address forwarded to your new EarthLink email address for a period of 30 days. Simply follow the instructions at:

http://webmail.volaris.com

In the meantime, if you have any questions or concerns, please email Volaris at transitionsupport@vol.com or reply to this email.

We thank you for being a loyal Volaris customer. We're confident you'll enjoy the fine people at EarthLink who are committed to your complete satisfaction.

Sincerely,

Volaris Online

 Just my opinion:

>>"loyal Volaris customer"
Don't you mean Earthlink? You haven't been Volaris long enough in Paducah to develop much loyalty. :-)

Nothing against earthlink, but I'd recommend everyone go with a good *local* company and screw this ever-changing apex/durocom/volaris/earthlink/whoknowswhatsnext

They change names/owners quite often and half the time the only way their customers find out is when their service stops working.

Whoever has been in charge during these changeovers should win the *ISP Management From Helll* award.

Good grief!

I was sent an email on Nov. 12th,
advising me that apex/durocom/volaris was selling out to earthlink. This was only a
6 day notice. Had I been warned at
least 2 weeks ahead of time,I never
would have prepaid my service on
Nov. the 5th for 6 months. I called
about my account and ask for a refund and guess what they said?
NO CAN DO!!!! Way to go Volaris thanks for the notice!!!! I think
maybe I should complain to the better business bureau nothing against earthlink but the point is
I paid in advance for 6 months of service that I am not going to get
unless I download earhtlinks software which I do not want to do.
Its being rammed down my throat.
I think all prepaid customers should have the option to get their money back, as opposed to downloading software only to remove it later, because who knows how long earthlink will provide service, then here we go again.

The access numbers given for Earthlink don't work.Disconnects continuously after 60 seconds.

Come on over to a local owned Internet Provider. Heartland Internet. There is a Special going on now for "Former Apex" users.

I also prepaid 6 months with Volaris which Earthlink is not honoring. When contacted they say too bad - call Volaris. Does anyone know how to contact Volaris? - number I had is no longer in service.
