A family favorite for 15 years, Christmas in the Park lights up Paducah’s Noble Park with a half million twinkling bulbs each holiday season. Sponsored by Paducah Power System, the event is an annual tradition for people of all ages. The lighting displays attract visitors from the four-state region, generating thousands of dollars and several tons of canned goods for area food pantries each year. The 2011 event raised $35,614 and 69,134 pounds of food for Paducah Cooperative Ministry, Family Service Society and the Salvation Army.

  • Jenny Wiley Theatre is Kentucky’s only professional theatre east of I-75, offering productions all year long at both the Jenny Wiley amphitheater, located within the Jenny Wiley State Resort Park, and the nearby Mountain Arts Center in Prestonsburg.

  • RiverPark in downtown Owensboro offers one of the state’s most spectacular Christmas presentations. It features an outdoor skating rink overlooking the Ohio River. A giant 20 x 40 foot inflatable screen allows visitors to watch some of the favorite holiday movies. A snow-making machine adds to the reality of it all, especially when the children have a chance to build a real snowman.

  • Our mission is to provide G.I.S. (Geographic Information Systems) services, voice and data network services, and support to employees of the City of Paducah and McCracken County Governments so that they may serve the citizens in an efficient manner.
