Housed in the former Hopkins County Library, the museum is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and features an original 1910 Buick Buggybout – one of only three left in the world! Other memorabilia dates back to the early 1800s and showcases the region’s coal industry, political history, lifestyles, and more.

  • Built in 1900, they feature a variety of performing arts. The Historic Photo Museum showcases Washington County’ s historical significance as the first official county of Kentucky. An arts & crafts store features local handcrafts.

  • On Hwy 100 East about 5 blocks from Old 31E, look for the Tabernacle, the seat of early revivals and gospel singing held in Allen County since 1897- Scottsville is the home of the Kentucky Stale Singing Convention held in October each year. The Tabernacle is open to all denominations for religious purposes only.
