Tour the cabin where Kentucky’s 43rd governor - the man who initiated the state sales tax and made Harlan Sanders a Colonel -- was born. Originally constructed in the mid-1800s, this relocated and restored cabin is furnished with period pieces.

    Alben William Barkley (November 24, 1877 – April 30, 1956) was an American politician who served as the 35th Vice President of the United States from 1949 to 1953 under President Harry S. Truman.
