At the church called Immanuel we are enabled-
to grow, to think, to question
to doubt, to fail,
to nurture and to be nurtured,
to care and to be cared for,
to comfort and to be comforted,
to challenge and to be challenged.
It is here, through the church, that we really live. At it is here, through ministry to others in the name of Jesus Christ, that our living comes alive!
We invite you to join us for a mutually enriching pilgrimage of faith. Together, let's seek the Kingdom of God!
Mt. Zion Baptist Church. "There is no place like this place."
we believe there should be a central purpose for everything we do. We do not believe things just happen. Since we believe in the sovereignty of God, we believe everything should have a purpose. We have brought every ministry under a purpose:
We are a family of believers whose purpose is to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ to the world and to help develop believers as they grow in their faith. If you are seeking a purpose and a meaning for your life we want to invite you to be our guest at Lone Oak First Baptist Church (LOFBC).
St. Francis de Sales Church is a Roman Catholic Church established in Paducah in 1848.
The mission of St. Francis de Sales Parish, Paducah, KY, is to live as disciples of Jesus Christ and to proclaim his Good News in the tradition of the Roman Catholic Church:
by prayer and celebration of the sacraments,
by teaching and preaching the word of God
through lifelong faith formation
You may know that the two greatest commands are love God and love neighbor. Jesus actually said that everything God wants is summarized in those two commands. So, it seems to us that this is the beginning place of our journey. To love God is to be passionate about understanding Him as he reveals himself in scripture and be open to the transforming work of His Spirit within us.
"Were there anything better or fairer on earth than gentleness, Jesus Christ would have taught it to us; and yet He has given us only two lessons to learn of Him - meekness and humility of heart-" St. Francis de Sales - 1602
