When Tom & Mourning Barnett started Barnett Funeral Home in 1922 it was built on care and compassion for their fellow man. These same ideals were carried on by Fred & Artie Mae Strother when it became Barnett-Strother Funeral Home.

Steve & Charlene Carson nurtured these established practices and earned a reputation for unequaled service. Serving families in need became a Family Tradition and a way of doing business. This belief of care, concern, and professionalism runs deep. Though the ideals are from 1922, it is what funeral service is still about. Tom & Natalie Hemmerle and the entire staff are now dedicated to servicing grieving families in a professional, caring way that has now become a hallmark of Barnett-Strother Funeral Home. Even though the names and faces have changed the tradition is still there.
