Kiwanis is a service organization that believes children are the future, takes pride in your community, wants to reach out to those in need, and enjoys meeting new people. Kiwanis was founded in 1915 and is headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana. Over the years Kiwanis has thrived in more than 8,000 clubs and more than 80 countries which we are proud to say is now.

South Paducah Kiwanis club was sponsored by the Downtown Paducah Kiwanis club and organized in 1953. The club received its' charter in 1954 with 54 members. The meeting place was the old Franklin Junior High School. The club currently owns its' own building and uses it as a Community Center. The building was an old Paducah fire station located next to Kolb Park.

  • The Commonwealth Yacht Club is located at the Green Turtle Bay Resort in Grand Rivers Kentucky on the Cumberland River at Mile 32. The entrance to Green Turtle Bay is one mile north of the Canal connecting the Cumberland River with the Tennessee River, making CYC very accessible from both Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley.
