When we say you’ll feel like a kid again, we mean it! The memories of your youth will come rushing back to you on our beautiful lake. Race go-karts, play miniature golf, take a bike ride, visit the animals at the nature station, watch a Kentucky Constellation presentation inside the planetarium, go horseback riding, take a swim, hop on a jet ski, camp out, hunt, fish, shop, boat, bird watch, see a drive-in movie, golf, see a live country music show, go to a dinner theatre, or see live blues or bluegrass music. Whatever you decide, make sure the kid inside you gets to choose! Kentucky Lake was formed by the completion of Kentucky Dam, the longest dam at 8,422 feet on the Tennessee River in the Tennessee Valley Authority system.
The 184 mile Kentucky Lake is bordered on the east by Land Between the Lakes, one of Kentucky’s most visited attractions. Inside this 170,000-acre play land you can live out any type of outdoor recreational activity imaginable. Hike, bike, hunt, fish, camp and relax inside this non-commercialized haven of nature’s preserved beauty.
