From time to time Bristol Broadcasting Company, who operates WKYX and three other stations in Paducah, has full and part-time job openings. Area organizations are invited to contact us to be put on a mailing list for future openings. This includes civic organizations, women's groups, churches and minority organizations.
WNBS received approval from the FCC and began broadcasting in the early evening of July 1, 1948. Early programming included live music from the studio from country music groups and from gospel quartets. A piano was a part of the equipment in the studio for musicians to use.
