Keyth Kahrs arrived in Paducah from Tucson Arizona in January 2002. He opened Leaping Trout Studio's doors for business in November of 2004. Keyth is a realist painter who works in watercolors and acrylics. Working from his own photographs, Keyth paints landscapes, figure studies, pet portraits, and motor vehicles. Leaping Trout Studio also includes small gift items, photographs and prints, perfect as momentos for out of town visitors.

Kahrs, and a team of LowerTown artists, recently completed work on a large scale mural project for Ingram Barge Company
