we believe there should be a central purpose for everything we do. We do not believe things just happen. Since we believe in the sovereignty of God, we believe everything should have a purpose. We have brought every ministry under a purpose:
Mt. Zion is here to exalt our wonderful Savior. Our desire is to see Christ lifted up in every ministry aspect of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. John 12:32 says, “If I be lifted up I will draw all men unto me.”
Mt. Zion exists to equip those who are saved for spiritual growth and service. We believe that a vital part of a life-changing salvation experience is to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. We place a priority on providing an atmosphere where men, women, students, and children can grow and develop in their own spiritual walk with God. Ephesians 4:11-13
Mt. Zion is here to share the good news of God’s life-changing salvation. We strongly believe that salvation only comes by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. God’s word teaches us that all people who die without Jesus Christ as Savior will be eternally lost. John 3:3

St. Francis de Sales Church is a Roman Catholic Church established in Paducah in 1848.
The mission of St. Francis de Sales Parish, Paducah, KY, is to live as disciples of Jesus Christ and to proclaim his Good News in the tradition of the Roman Catholic Church:

You may know that the two greatest commands are love God and love neighbor. Jesus actually said that everything God wants is summarized in those two commands. So, it seems to us that this is the beginning place of our journey. To love God is to be passionate about understanding Him as he reveals himself in scripture and be open to the transforming work of His Spirit within us.
First Baptist Church is a diverse group of people who have experienced God’s grace and who are seeking to be obedient to Christ’s commandment to love God and love people. During the week, you will find us scattered throughout Western Kentucky, but we gather regularly for worship, community, teaching, and ministry. In all things, our ultimate desire is to honor God.

On March 27, 1983 two independent Baptist churches merged to form Rickman Road Missionary Baptist Church. As a result of the union of Friendship Baptist Church, which began in March 1972 under the leadership of Rev. Bob Fraser, and West Paducah Missionary Baptist Church, which began April 13, 1968 under the leadership of Rev. W.A. McCormick, the current church sprang into existence.
