The Paducah Film Society has been in operation since 1991 as a mission driven non-profit organization dedicated to the importance of film asanartistic medium. Ten years later, Maiden Alley Cinema was born as the regions premiere independent cinematic art house boasting the second longest running film festival in the state of Kentucky (River’s Edge International Film Festival). Highlighting independent, foreign, classic and documentary film, in addition to special programming, MAC remains as a truly unique entity in the fabric of downtown Paducah.

  • Permits are issued for general assemblies, also referred to as special events. Special events that require permits include walks at Noble Park, parades, and festivals. A permit is necessary for a special event that will be conducted on the streets, parks, or other public areas in the City of Paducah.
