BBQ on the River, A Community Charitable Event! Can you think of a better way to spend an early fall weekend than enjoying great BBQ, lively entertainment, exquisite crafts, a charming downtown and a great time with friends. Come join us in Paducah, KY for three great days of BBQ Bliss as 50 plus BBQ teams from Western Kentucky and beyond cook up over 60 tons of meat in hopes of taking home the coveted Grand Champions trophy. Along with delicious mouthwatering food and fabulous fun you will be helping out many local charitable organization. Since the West Kentucky area has the greatest concentration of major navigable rivers in the world, and since Paducah is located at the junction of the Ohio and Tennessee Rivers, activity on the riverfront and river oriented activity was a logical choice for the '67 celebration.

  • We will hand make your beaded bracelets - "Chiclets" - with the bead colors and charms of your choice.

  • Movies made by filmmakers from across the globe will be viewed over four days in three downtown venues; built around the showing of quality independent film from around the world and on the film maker, offering opportunities for exhibition, education, and networking with contemporaries.
