The Glema Mahr Center for the Arts is a 1,053 seat auditorium that offers a variety of performances including music, dance, professional theatre, and community theater productions. They also present regular Coffeehouse and Chamber Music concerts.
Classical and popular music acts, award-winning plays, and top- name entertainers grace the stage of this 1,000+ seat, state-of- the-art theater every season.
Housed in the Glema Mahr Center for the Arts, this gallery regularly features regional and national art exhibits of textiles, sculpture, photography, oil paintings, and more. Admission is free.
The Symphony at WKU has been performing for enthusiastic audiences since 1908. Most recently, the Orchestra performs five symphonic concerts which include Masterworks, Pops, and Family concerts. In 2003, The Symphony at WKU began presenting professional chamber ensembles in its Chamber Series to make available more diverse opportunities for live classical music performances in our community.
West Kentucky Community & Technical College (WKCTC) presents national touring productions of theatre, dance, and music as well as acoustic musicians in a casual coffeehouse setting.
Owensboro Dance Theatre has provided professional dance performances to the Tri-State area for 25 years. ODT produces two main stage productions each season performed at River Park Center in downtown Owensboro. A unique version of the holiday classic, “The Nutcracker”, is presented each December, plus they have an “In Concert” performance in March.

The Paramount Arts Center, hosts headline entertainers, Broadway plays and performances in every genre year round. Housed in the restored Paramount Theatre which, built in 1931, the Arts Center began presenting performing arts in 1972. The theatre seats 1400 people and is listed as a Kentucky Landmark on the National Register of Historic Places.
