Open on Saturday nights, Calvin Ray’s offers a wide variety of music shows throughout the year. Several major headliners are scheduled each year and it is home to the Blue Moon Highway Band featuring Calvin Ray himself. Great Music. Great Food!

The mission of the nonprofit volunteer organization Charity League, Inc., includes raising funds for Easter Seals West Kentucky and assisting other local nonprofits for the care of children, women and others in need. Charity League of Paducah was organized in March 1932 with 16 members for the purpose of starting a lending library.

The Symphony at WKU has been performing for enthusiastic audiences since 1908. Most recently, the Orchestra performs five symphonic concerts which include Masterworks, Pops, and Family concerts. In 2003, The Symphony at WKU began presenting professional chamber ensembles in its Chamber Series to make available more diverse opportunities for live classical music performances in our community.
