Established in 1984, Actors’ Guild of Lexington offers compelling contemporary theatre for the region. AGL is Lexington’s only professional nonprofit theatre for adult audiences. They present six plays per season and offer more performances than any other arts group - over 100 per year.
Since forming in 2005, local performers have provided the region with a variety of delightful dramatic entertainment. With the addition of a Dinner Theatre, local residents are treated to an outstanding evening of dinner and drama. To date, the Guild’s seven performances have focused on the common theme of relationships. With lively song, dance and humor, the cast never fails to please.

Music Theatre Louisville, the resident musical theatre company at Iroquois Amphitheater, is dedicated to presenting high quality, diverse and affordable entertainment. Now in its 24th year, MTL produces a summer season consisting of musicals selected from the traditional Broadway style. Three musical theatre camps are open to the public in the fall, spring and summer.
Jenny Wiley Theatre is Kentucky’s only professional theatre east of I-75, offering productions all year long at both the Jenny Wiley amphitheater, located within the Jenny Wiley State Resort Park, and the nearby Mountain Arts Center in Prestonsburg.
