Paducah-McCracken County Habitat for Humanity builds homes and strengthens families and communities. A Habitat house is simple, decent, and affordable. It is small, low maintenance, and energy efficient. There are no frills no basement, no garage, and no more than one full bathroom.

Habitat is not a handout. To qualify, partner families must pay a down payment, participate in homeowner education classes, and work at least 500 hours of sweat equity. Then they re-pay a 20 year, no interest mortgage, which goes back into our building program to build more homes.

Even though we're affiliated with the International Habitat organization, we must raise all our money locally. We use efficient business practices to coordinate volunteer labor with donations of money and materials. Our Habitat ReStore raises a significant amount of money for building. Our goal is to eliminate poverty housing in Paducah-McCracken County. We need your help to accomplish our goal. Please join us!
