Paducah has a great deal to offer the visitor and one of the enchanting places to go is to the Yeiser Art Center where you will be exposed to dramatic art designed to serve citizens of and visitors to the region with quality works by established and emerging artists. Changing historic and contemporary arts and crafts exhibits from regional, national, and international collections are featured at this art center. Changing visual art exhibits by regional & national artists. Yeiser’s permanent collection of 19th and 20th c. American, African, Asian and European artwork , as well as historical art, is shown periodically at Lower Town Fine Arts District.

Exhibitions and events organized by the Yeiser are designed to serve citizens of and visitors to this art region and feature quality works by established and emerging artists. The Yeiser Art Center is also pleased to showcase the artistic talents of the Yeiser members in an exhibition of two and three dimensional art. Many members of the Yeiser are working artists ranging from the amateur to the professional levels by providing educational opportunities and activities that help nurture the creative spirit in all of us.

The Kentucky Arts Council, a state agency in the Commerce Cabinet, provides operational support funding for the Yeiser Art Center with state tax dollars and federal funding from the National Endowment for the Arts, which believes that a great nation deserves great art.”

There is the permanent collection which will sooth your eyes and stir your heart. Visiting artists will also have works on display for you to enjoy. Local and regional high school students also have special exhibits to showcase their work on occasion.

The museum has educational programs for kids of all ages to help them understand the world of art. These workshops and programs have a wide range of interesting mediums and presenters to keep you interested in the subject, regardless of your age.
