Krafty Ideas #2 - Padded Picture Frame
Materials:
- Material
- Cardboard
- Aileen’s Tacky Glue
- Fiberfill
Tools:
- X-ACTO Knife (optional)
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Clothes pins
- Cut 2 pieces of cardboard the same size.
- Cut out the center of one piece the size of photo you will be framing. Allow about 2 or 3 inches larger than photo for frame area. (You may use an X-ACTO knife to cut out center.)
- Cut material larger than frame.
- Cut the center like an “X” from material.
- Glue Fiberfill around cardboard frame. Dry for about an hour.
- Place material over the Fiberfill. Glue the center pieces of material to cardboard. (Now the center will be open.)
- Glue the outer pieces of material to cardboard. (Use cloths pins to hold while drying.)
- Glue a matching piece of material on the other piece of cardboard. (Or glue a photo in the center.)
- Glue the back on the front.
Idea!
Add some matching Homemade Ribbon on the bottom.
