Cinemark Kentucky Oaks Theaters
Kentucky Oaks Mall is anchored by Sears, Dillards and J.C. Penney. Other shops include Gap, Old Navy, Gymboree as well as a variety of restaurants. Kentucky Oaks is also home to the Cinemark Theater which spotlights the latest films. Cinemark at Paducah, opened behind the mall. This wonderful modern theater with all the bells and whistles. Awesome digital sound and all stadium seating.
Cinemark USA, Inc. is a Texas corporation with its principal place of business located in Plano, Texas. Cinemark owns and/or operates motion picture theaters, including stadium-style movie theaters, in various states throughout the United States.
Opened in the late 1980's by the Strand Enterprises owned this Premiere Cinemas Corporation with 12 screens as Kentucky Oaks 12. Early 1990's taken over by Cinemark. Late 1990's updated with stadium PADUCAH seating etc.
Stadium-style movie theaters owned and/or operated by Cinemark, known as "stadium-style movie theaters," in which most of the seating is elevated on a series of risers in the auditorium that were designed and constructed for first occupancy after January 26, 1993. According to plans outlined in the permit application, a new cinema boast 12 screens, all featuring stadium seating. The two largest auditoriums seat 294 while the two smallest will each seat 161. Two seating 286, with the remaining six seating 173 each. The 48,438-square-foot building is smaller than earlier forecasts of a facility twice that size.
In Cinemark's auditoria with more than 300 seats, patrons may use elevators to access some of these seats on risers. 2005 renamed Cinemark at Paducah. New release independent film shown every weekend.
