The Hwy 68/80 Heritage Corridor Initiative has been started across the state of Kentucky. This wonderful highway goes from Aurora, near Land Between the Lakes, to Edmonton - known for the musical group Kentucky Headhunters. The road then splits heading (in the West) to Paducah and Arlington and (in the East) to Pikeville and Maysville.

Area tourism officials are lauding the designation of the length of U.S. 68 from Paducah to Maysville as a scenic byway.

You'll want to shop our Downtown Antique District and while there, read the Historic Road Marker description of John Hunt Morgan's raids through the Community. You can sleep in a teepee at Wigwam Village #2, listed on the National Register of Historic Plates.
