Taste of Paducah 2000
by Corey Dunn (October 19, 2000)
The only thing better than the weather Saturday was the food. Area resturaunts gathered at Paducah's Riverfront to give people a little "Taste of Paducah". Paducah's "Taste of Paducah" gives people a chance to sample area resturaunt's trademark dishes. The portions are smaller, but the taste couldn't be any bigger.
Damon's served their famous ribs, and Backyard Burger served customers some of the best burgers around. The Pork Peddler served up some great BBQ, while Outback Steakhouse showed people how steak and chicken should taste.
Cool Guys and More served up some great frozen drinks to cool people down. House of Grace was there for the calorie counters, serving up their famous salads and spiced tea. Bob's Drive In hurried to keep up with the crowd's hunger for their famous Fiesta Burgers, while Massac Kounty Kitchen served up a heap of down-home cooking.
Even area Policeman had to take time from fighting crime to enjoy the great food. Needless to say, this year's "Taste of Paducah" was a success. People got to sample some great food, take in all the events with the "Arts in Action", and enjoy some of the best Fall weather we have seen.
I ate so much, I had to take the rest of the afternoon to walk around the Riverfront. That is all for now, this guy looks forward to covering the next event in town with so much food and fun! :-)
