Mardi Gras & All That Jazz!

by Press Release (February 10, 2006)

Paducah, Kentucky — Mark your calendar for Fat Tuesday, February 28, 2006 to celebrate a New Orleans tradition at Paducah’s premiere charity event—Lourdes Foundation’s Mardi Gras & All That Jazz! With nearly 800 people attending last year, this event is widely heralded as the party of the year. Raising more than $52,000 in 2005, proceeds from the upcoming event will further enhance the quality healthcare Lourdes provides to the region, especially the poor and underserved.

The region’s best party will feature the swingin’ music of Dr. Ted Borodofsky’s Southern Jazz and enough gourmet cuisine and spirits from area restaurants to fill the Mississippi Delta! This fundraiser will be held at J.R.’s Executive Inn International Rooms A, B & C from 6 to 9 p.m.

Satisfy your Cajun cravings with treats from these popular restaurants and establishments:

Coca Cola
Little Edibles / Café de la Cobb
Lourdes Starbucks
Maker's Mark
Mansion II Go
Outback Steakhouse
Ozark Pride Meats
Party Mart
The Pasta House Company
Patti's 1880s Restaurant
Pepsi
Popeye's
Rafferty's
The Range at Harrah's Metropolis Casino
Roof Brothers Wine & Spirits
Simply Unique Catering
Whaler's Catch

Get ready to bid for a hot one-of-a-kind collectable! Local artist and interior designer Bill Ford has completed the fourth piece in a series of original artwork—annually created especially for this event—which will be auctioned off to the highest bidder.
