The City of Franklin in Simpson County is PURE small town Americana, with antique stores, specialty and curio shops, all nestled around an old time courthouse square so picturesque that TV production companies have used it for location shooting.

Located at 31W intersection with I-65, Franklin's log cabin visitor information center is a great starting point. Also in Franklin are museums, historic and unique buildings, a golf course and a rack track. Special events include an antique car show and a bluegrass music festival.   • Scottsville-Allen County is located 25 miles southeast of Bowling Green and 12 miles from beautiful Barren River Lake. Founded in 1815, Scottsville offers small-town hospitality.
