
The Patton Museum of Cavalry and Armor Is dedicated to the memory of one ol America's greatest military heroes. General George S- Patton, Jr The museum features a variety of armored equipment, vehicles, weapons and many personal items used by General Patton. The United States Bullion Depository is located within the Fort Knox Military reservation. Built in 1936, the "Gold Vault," houses more than 100 billion dollars worth of gold bullion, each bar weighing 273 pounds. Viewing of the vault is possible from US 31W and Bullion Blvd. No interior visits are allowed.
