Cherry Civic Center Dances

Robert Cherry Civic Center is approximately 6000 sq. ft. of air conditioned/heated open space. It is located on a main thoroughfare of Paducah at 2701 Park Avenue. This makes it easily accessible for banquets, dances, trade shows, large family reunions, class reunions, company meetings. Parties, Receptions, reunions, meetings, Partial Kitchen. Discounted for non-profit, schools, churches. Capacity: 6,000 Sq. Ft., Up to 700 people. The annual Instrument Show is held in April at the Robert Cherry Civic Center. Attendance has been averaging 250+. Scheduled dance party is also held at this center; sponsored by Paducah Community Band.

Paducah Parks Services is hosting the 2009 State Senior Games now through Sunday. This is the first time for Paducah to host the games. Senior athletes, ages 50 and over, are in Paducah competing in numerous events including swimming, badminton, and track and field. Twelve states are represented during these five days. The Parks Department reports that 289 people have registered to participate. The opening ceremony was held today at 11:00 am at the Robert Cherry Civic Center. “Go Green” Dance; hosted by The Paducah Parks Services Teen Board also held at the Robert Cherry Civic Center.
