  • Scottsville-Allen County is located 25 miles southeast of Bowling Green and 12 miles from beautiful Barren River Lake. Founded in 1815, Scottsville offers small-town hospitality. Enjoy the friendly atmosphere, naturally inviting scenery and interesting activities. Known as "The Friendly City", one may shop for antiques, dine and explore historical sites.

  • Glasgow is over 200 years old. Named the county seat only one year after Barren County was formed from parts of Green and Warren counties. Glasgow is very proud of its Scottish heritage and shows it every year at the Glasgow Highland Games. People from all over the world come and participate.
