3,482 acres: Portions of lake shoreline, Perry Co.
There are two old roads which follow the lake shore, but primary access is by boat. The terrain is mountainous and is primarily forested with some open land in bottoms. Squirrel, grouse, woodcock, quail, rabbit, deer, and furbearers can be found here. Picnicking, camping, swimming, and boating facilities are available at Buckhorn Lake State Resort Park.
To get to Buckhorn Lake WMA, take KY 15 and KY 28 W from Hazard, KY 257 N from Hyden; from Daniel Boone Pky. take Hyden exit, turn left.

This area consists of very steep, rough terrain with narrow ridges and valleys that are completely forested, primarily in hardwoods. Deer, turkey, squirrel, rabbit, raccoon, and grouse can be found here. No camping is allowed. Boating, fishing, and other water-related sports are allowed.
3,559 acres in Knott Co.
This area consists of rough, mountainous terrain primarily forested with big hardwoods and some brushy areas. Deer, squirrel, grouse, and furbearers can be found here. Camping is
allowed in the corps-maintained campgrounds only. Fishing and boating are available at Carr Fork Lake.
Carr Fork WMA is located 20 mi. E of Hazard on KY 15.
1,394 acres in Harlan Co.
This area consists of mountainous terrain, forested primarily in second growth hardwoods. There are no roads within the area. Grouse, squirrel, turkey, deer, furbearers, and raptors can be found here. No camping is allowed. Fishing and boating are available on 340-acre Martins Fork Lake.

This area consists of hilly, wooded terrain with old fields. An observation area is located above reconstructed wetlands. Squirrel, grouse, deer, rabbit, quail, woodcock, turkey, raccoon, and numerous songbirds can be found here. No ATVs or camping are allowed on the management area.
14,763 acres in Carter Co. and Elliott Co.
