Easter Seal Benefit entertainment and information show, with 15 continuous hours of live music with features, client interviews, including national and local musicians, performers and actors. Clients served by the four centers will share their stories and officials of the four centers (Paducah, KY-Cape Girardeau, MO-Harrisburg/Marion, IL) and area Lions clubs interspersed; sponsored by the Paducah Lions Club and WPSD Local 6. All centers serve individuals with disabilities and other special needs.
Entertainers include Collin Raye, Linda Davis, The Van-Dells, Bob Crosno, Diamond rio, Ball in the HOuse, Josh williams band, Jay Kenneth Johnson - "Philip Kiriakis" from nbc's "days of our lives", reggie lafaye, eric horner, jaimee english, ray ligon, Lew jetton & 61 south, and great area talent all at the carson center in downtown paducah, ky.
The Telethon of Stars is one of the longest running, locally produced telethons in the country and has raised nearly $22 million since its formation and is telecasted in the 80th largest DMA market in the USA. Free soft drinks and snacks, other "beverages" welcome. Prizes for Best Costume, Most Original Costume and Best Decorated Table. Paducah Expo Center, One Executive Blvd. Free to public.

The Lone Oak Lions Club Annual Gas & Steam Engine Show, now in its 32nd year, is a much anticipated tradition in Western Kentucky. In the 22 years since it was started, the show has grown enormously, hosting exhibits of about 800 restored farm machines, antique gasoline and steam-powered machinery, tractors, automobiles, railroad motor cars, wagons, and stagecoaches.
Live concerts held nightly on the Riverfront during Summer Festival. Since the West Kentucky area has the greatest concentration of major navigable rivers in the world, and since Paducah is located at the junction of the Ohio and Tennessee Rivers, activity on the riverfront and river oriented activity was a logical choice for the '67 celebration.
The 240-seat proscenium theater is a model of adaptive use. 141 Kentucky Ave., in the historic Market House. Offers a variety of performances and productions throughout the year. Drama and live musical performances enhance the spirit of this historic rivertown.

The mission of the nonprofit volunteer organization Charity League, Inc., includes raising funds for Easter Seals West Kentucky and assisting other local nonprofits for the care of children, women and others in need. Charity League of Paducah was organized in March 1932 with 16 members for the purpose of starting a lending library.
